“Aquametric Field Models”

These are model replicas of the ceramic Aquametric Markers. These lightweight models are designed to be portable enough to be installed quickly, photographed, and moved to other locations within a two-hour window of tidal flow.  They were first were activated during the King Tides event that occurred in January and February 2019. I placed them in six locations prone to flooding in Mill Valley and Sausalito during peak high tide. The installation scenarios were photo-documented and posted through the California Coastal Commission’s California King Tides Project app.
